The City of Orlando, Florida has selected Teller Government Cashiering to modernize online invoice payments with Teller Online and Teller Payments.
Teller Online will provide the City with a new online payment portal for invoices generated through Workday Accounts Receivable, enhancing customer convenience with an easy way to pay online. Previously, the City did not have an online portal for these payments, creating challenges for customers who were unable to pay invoices before they expired and requiring additional work for staff who needed to reissue expired invoices.
Teller Payments will process those online payments through an integrated payment processing solution, bringing payment acceptance and processing together within the Teller environment.
The engagement represents an early implementation of Teller Payments, Can/Am’s integrated payment processing solution powered by Fiserv. Teller Payments supports credit card, debit card, and ACH payments through Teller Online, helping government agencies streamline payment processing while maintaining a connected payment environment.
The City joins other Teller clients in Florida including the City of Miami, Palm Beach County Tax Collector, St. Johns County, and City of Boynton Beach, where the City projects up to $1.4 million in annual savings with their Teller engagement.
Teller Payments is an integrated payment processing solution powered by Fiserv that helps government agencies consolidate merchant services across departments and reduce payment-processing complexity. Teller connects with the financial and operational systems agencies already use, bringing payment acceptance, cashiering, and reconciliation together within one platform. By consolidating processing relationships across payment channels and systems, agencies can benefit from more consistent processing rates, simplified support, and more efficient reconciliation.
For Orlando, Teller Payments will process payments submitted through the new Teller Online portal for Workday Accounts Receivable invoices. This gives the City an integrated solution from online payment submission through processing, helping consolidate merchant services and unify payment operations across the organization.
The City of Orlando is located in Central Florida and is the state’s fourth-most populous city. The area is home to Walt Disney World, making Orlando the fourth-most visited city in the United States after New York, Los Angeles, and Miami.
