
The City of Boynton beach has selected Teller Government Cashiering as the City’s single payment operations hub, a key piece of its technology modernization initiative.
The City currently manages disconnected payment systems and merchant processors, inflating costs, muddying citywide finances, and diminishing customer experience.
Acting as a unified payment hub for the entire City, Teller will connect all the City’s cashiering subledger systems, including:
Teller will help the City consolidate the number of merchant processors currently present, with an estimated cost savings of $700,000 to $1.4 million on processing alone.
Additional cost savings include vendor license and contact consolidation, staff productivity and workflow standardization, IT infrastructure, error reduction and chargeback management, and training and onboarding efficiencies. The total estimated cost savings of the City's technology modernization is $1.8 to $4 million.
