Lakewood, CO – Can/Am Technologies announced the recent addition of Brett Phillips, who joins the company as a full stack Teller product/software developer. He will be responsible for the successful execution of Teller product designs and will be actively participating in design meetings as well as interacting with clients to refine, test and debug programs to maximize meeting their business needs. Brett will also be collaborating with third party Can/Am Teller partners to efficiently achieve Teller Cashiering Solution business and technology initiatives.
Brett is a recent graduate of NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) where he earned a degree in Computer Engineering Technology. While at NAIT, he successfully interned at Can/Am, which led to his being offered this position. During his internship, it became apparent that he is a talented developer with a passion for technology, whether it be hardware or software related. In his own words, “he loves simplifying complex problems”. Prior to earning his degree, he worked for the City of Edmonton’s Paving Operations and Parks Horticulture department.
When not working on a computer, Brett spends time at his family’s farm, where they grow crops including Canola, Wheat, Barley, and more. Coming from a blue-collar work environment, Brett has gained a solid appreciation and understanding of the value of hard work.
In his free time, Brett enjoys watching sports such as football and basketball.
